Hi, thanks for visiting us. I'm Jonathan Lee,
I have been passionate about photography for many years and have developed a creative eye through my studies of graphic design and architecture, graduating from the University of Sheffield in 2005.
In 2017 I decided to follow my passion for photographically professionally and founded Journey Life Photography.
Coming from a very close family, I am used to being surrounded by people and pets! I am extremely passionate about my work and pride myself on delivering a fun, relaxed service. It's important to me that the photographs I deliver to my clients are unique, high quality and most importantly that they have the wow factor!
When I'm not taking photos of my clients I enjoy travelling and seeking out that next special landscape or nature shot to share with others. Feel free to browse our website and view some of my work. All images are available to purchase in a range of print sizes and styles.
We specialise in family/children sessions, pet and equine photography. In addition we now offer new-born and baby photography to capture those special early memories for you.
We are not studio based. Instead we meet you on location, in the great outdoors to capture more dynamic photographs. This allows our clients to combine sessions with a fun day out, leading to more natural, relaxed shots. Don't want to venture out? No problem, we are able to set up our professional, mobile studio in the comfort of your own home. This can be particularly convenient for baby sessions. Our studio comprises a range of backdrops and lighting, allowing us to capture modern shots and can be established in even the smallest of spaces.
Sessions typically last between 60-90 mins, however we will spend as much time as necessary with you to get the shots you want!
How Does it Work?
Following the session we use professional software including Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to meticulously edit the RAW files (digital negatives) to produce beautiful, high resolution photos. We then send you the images to select your final products * Typically you will receive your proofs for photo selection within 2 weeks of the shoot.
We operate throughout Derbyshire and Yorkshire, covering Chesterfield, Sheffield, Dronfield, Huddersfield and all areas of the Peak District.
